Our Goal

 

Our goal at Total Soccer is Three fold.  Our primary goal is to provide your child with the highest level of coaching possible at an affordable cost.  Secondly, we want to provide a club structure that makes participating in organized soccer practical for parents and players.  Finally, we want to have such an impact on the soccer community that we become a model for other soccer clubs.

 

What Total Offers

 

Total soccer club offers professional Coaching designed to expose youth players to a developmental training model, that is not only fun but also prepares players to compete at a higher level.  Of utmost importance is the development of all the technical abilities the game demands.  The ultimate goal is to train confident, competitive players.

 

Total soccer club offers boys and girls of many ages the opportunity to not only build their skills on the field, but to also learn sportsmanship and life skills off the field. 

 

Total Soccer offers two different levels of participation, a developmental and competitive program, each with varying levels of cost and commitment.

 

Developmental—This program is designed to provide professional coaching on a year round basis.  The idea is to expose the youth players in the club to a developmental training model that is not only fun but will also prepare them for competition outside of the Springfield area.  Tournaments for the developmental ages are recommended but not required.  Lake Country has about four tournaments a year, which makes tournament play possible right here in Springfield for those teams which choose to participate. 

 

Competitive– This program is designed to give the competitive players the maximum opportunities to train and play soccer with professional coaching throughout the season.  Training will be intense, and a possession oriented style of soccer will be the highlight of the training model instituted by the Director of Coaching.  Travel to different tournaments throughout Missouri and the surrounding states during the year is a part of the competitive program as well as participation in the Missouri State Cup.

Everyone involved with Total is a non-paid volunteer with the exception of our coaching staff.  A great many people have donated time and money to make Total Soccer a success.  If you have a child interested in playing for Total or would like to volunteer time or resources to the club, please contact us.
